Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients in the Emergency Department and Special Care Nursery.
• Utilize appropriate respiratory equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow nasal cannulas.
• Perform arterial blood gas tests and interpret results to guide patient care.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist in high-risk deliveries as needed.
• Ensure compliance with FIT testing guidelines and maintain equipment sanitization standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients.

Qualifications

• Current RRT licensure and state certification.
• 1 year of relevant respiratory therapy experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Ability to work third weekends as part of the regular schedule.
• Strong critical thinking and patient management skills in various clinical settings.
