Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Transplant to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical surgical and progressive care to adult transplant patients.
- Manage care for adolescent patients starting at the age of 15 when required.
- Float as needed within scope to different units to meet facility needs.
- Administer medications and manage complex IV drips, such as Nitro and Heparin.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and patient documentation.
- Maintain compliance with infection control policies in a nicotine-free facility.
Qualifications
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
- Experience with EPIC charting system required.
- Ability to float frequently and adapt to various unit environments.
- Preferred experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center.
- Pending Nebraska RN State License considered, but must be obtained by start date.
