Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care in labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and C-section settings.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes, including collaboration with respiratory and radiology services.
Execute clinical duties for perinatal patients, including IV initiation and management.
Administer appropriate life-saving interventions, complying with ACLS and BLS standards.
Maintain accurate charting and documentation using the Epic system.
Facilitate a safe and supportive environment for patients and newborns, including handling Level II NICU situations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience required.
Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and ACLS; AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred.
Experience in postpartum care and C-section procedures.
Ability to float between like units as necessary.
Prior exposure to Epic charting systems preferred.
Willingness to cover every other weekend as scheduled.
