Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during Ortho trauma, ortho, spine, neuro, GYN, general, and robotic surgeries.
- Ensure the preparation and maintenance of a sterile field.
- Verify and maintain surgical equipment inventory and functionality.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Document procedures accurately using the Cerner system.
- Provide responsive action during any intraoperative complications.
Qualifications
- Current CSTFA, CFA, or RNFA certification.
- Proficiency with standard OR equipment, including Davinci and Mako robots.
- Experience in handling a wide range of surgical procedures.
- Comfort with flexible scheduling and on-call duties.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems like Cerner.
