Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech - Cardiology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform procedures in the cath lab according to standard practices.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of cath lab equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within EMR - MEDHOST.
- Assist in patient preparation and recovery from procedures.
- Coordinate with medical staff and ensure all supplies are ready for procedures.
- Provide rotating on-call coverage for emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- RT (R) certification required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory.
- Experience with scrubbing and x-ray equipment.
- Familiarity with a unit having 6 beds.
- Ability to wear and maintain a Ceil Blue scrub color provided by the hospital.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work under stress.
