Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams.
• Coordinate activities with hospital departments, including scheduling exams and handling billing.
• Assist cardiologist during exams and ensure accurate exam preparation.
• Respond to patient needs during exams and report patient condition changes.
• Log patients and exams and manage patient records within the department.
• Participate in departmental and hospital-wide performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two-year allied health education preferred.
• A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible with State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively under stressful conditions.
• Two years of experience conducting echocardiograms preferred.
