Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform STAT and ASAP ultrasound orders throughout the hospital, including ER and OB triage orders.
• Transport patients to the ultrasound department as needed and conduct portable examinations efficiently.
• Ensure proper documentation using EPIC charting system for all conducted procedures.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary support teams like IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services.
• Maintain high professional standards in compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
• If time permits, assist with routine exams at the start or end of shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience required.
• Proficiency in operating GE and Siemens equipment.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Experience in a short-term acute care facility beneficial.
• Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:1 during shifts.
