Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care nursing services in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) environment.
- Manage patient care plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Operate advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and monitoring devices.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
- Float to adult inpatient areas as needed based on census and staffing needs.
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies and standards for patient care and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience required.
- Valid NC or compact state RN license in hand.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS required.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Ability to manage a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio for adult and geriatric patients.
- Previous MICU experience and ability to float as needed.
