Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist - Mammography to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency on routine mammography procedures including screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localization, and specimen imaging.
• Maintain communication with patients and healthcare teams to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Follow safety standards and protocols during all imaging procedures.
• Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot mammography equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Current FL Rad Tech license and ARRT Mammography certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of 1+ year recent mammography experience.
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Mammography.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of mammography procedures and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently under pressure.
