Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care.
• Monitor and assist laboring patients, including circulating for vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Support newborn resuscitation efforts as needed during deliveries.
• Competently triage patients at 20 weeks and up, providing critical labor and delivery support.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and demonstrate leadership in planning safe delivery of care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in the state of Georgia.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience required.
• Experience with CPN & Cerner electronic medical records preferred.
• Able to pass an EKG competency test.
• Successful completion of at least two travel assignments in labor and delivery.
