Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging, Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations for a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatric.
- Utilize Siemens Acuson S200 & GE Logiq E10 equipment effectively.
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold EMR standards using Allscripts.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures and exams.
- Assist in various procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, and biopsies.
- Collaborate with medical team and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
Qualifications
- Must possess a New Hampshire MIRT Licensure and BLS certification.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Proficient in sonographic physics and techniques with basic scanning skills.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology, especially in recognizing abnormal findings.
- Experience with hospital EMR systems, specifically Allscripts, is preferred.
