Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver patient care focused on improving mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Utilize adaptive devices and therapeutic techniques to enhance patient recovery.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care and patient safety.
- Document patient progress and response to therapies in the electronic health records.
- Participate in emergency response teams as required by facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current BLS and Louisiana State License required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy preferred.
- Epic charting system experience required.
- Experience with geriatric and high acuity patient populations preferred.
- Ability to float to different general medicine floors within the hospital.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
