Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.
• Administer emergency treatments including breathing treatments and rapid sequence intubation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care effectively.
• Float between various emergency departments and provide ambulatory triage as needed.
• Perform intake and assessment, ensuring accurate documentation of patient status in Epic systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing medical equipment such as ventilators, defibrillators, and CRRT machines.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with experience in an adult/pediatric emergency setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certification required.
• Minimum of 1-year experience required; trauma level experience preferred.
• Epic charting system experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a 4-5 patient ratio in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; community hospital experience required.
