Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients in adult critical care and emergency department settings.
- Assist with intubation and extubation procedures to maintain patient airway management.
- Perform nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning as required.
- Collect sputum specimens for diagnostic purposes.
- Manage and care for tracheostomy patients, including the use of high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), BiPAP, and CPAP.
- Troubleshoot and respond to high pressure alarms on mechanical ventilators.
Qualifications
- Valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of one year experience in adult critical care and emergency settings.
- Proficiency in extubation, intubation assist, and tracheostomy management.
- Ability to work night shifts and meet weekend requirements.
- First-time travelers allowed with prior critical care experience.
