Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the PCU/IMC/Stepdown unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide acute care nursing for patients undergoing cardiovascular and surgical services.
- Utilize equipment including Philips Cardiac Monitors, Cerner EMR, and Pyxis Med dispenser.
- Administer advanced cardiac medications and perform interventions like PCA pumps and arterial/venous sheath pulls.
- Adhere to clinical procedures and protocols for safe and efficient care delivery.
- Collaborate with hospitalists in managing critically ill PCU patients.
- Engage in unit/department-specific training in a fast-paced cardiac surgery care environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year PCU experience with proficiency in EKG and peritoneal dialysis.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Active, valid RN license in Arizona, in good standing.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend.
- Experience in floating to ICU and MS/Tele units preferred.
- Professional demeanor with adherence to the dress code of navy scrubs.
