Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to obstetrical patients with conditions such as hypertension and diabetes
- Participate in interdisciplinary care team by maintaining communication with healthcare professionals
- Administer and titrate medications such as Pitocin and Mag Sulfate safely and effectively
- Comply with facility policies including radius rule and artificial nails prohibition
- Take and pass a mandatory open book skills exam during orientation achieving at least 90%
- Utilize EPIC charting system to document patient care accurately
Qualifications
- Active RN license eligible for submission
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
- BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory
- Proficient with patient care equipment and emergency protocols
- Demonstrated ability to follow AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios
