Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of three to six patients daily with varied diagnoses including dysphagia and cognitive decline.
• Conduct video swallow studies and provide treatment for conditions such as CVA and Parkinson's disease.
• Provide care in acute inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring thorough assessment and intervention planning.
• Adhere to required documentation processes using the Cerner charting system.
• Collaborate with care teams to develop comprehensive care plans, ensuring patient needs are met effectively.
• Participate in department-specific orientation and ongoing training as necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist licensure and CCC-SLP certification required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of Speech Language Pathology experience is recommended.
• Proficiency in conducting and interpreting video swallow studies preferred.
• Strong understanding of treating neurological-related speech conditions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
