Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to step-down and medical-surgical patients with varying needs.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 3:1 for step-down and 6:1 for floor patients.
• Administer and titrate critical drips, including heparin, insulin, and antihypertensives.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and nurse aides to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Comply with weekend and holiday assignment as part of scheduling duties.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of West Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Able to handle a caseload of up to 6 patients in med-surg and 3 in stepdown.
• Proficient in using CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow ventilation equipment.
• Flexibility to float to different units as required.
