Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients, particularly those with neurological conditions, ensuring compliance with physician orders.
• Administer medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, and other prescribed therapies.
• Document patient data accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including Respiratory Therapy for patients on floor vents.
• Maintain safety and quality standards related to direct patient care in a Neuro unit.
• Ensure continuous operation and compliance with NIHSS and BLS protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in West Virginia.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Proficient in EPIC with recent experience preferred.
• Strong experience with Neurosciences and G-tubes is desired.
• Flexibility to float as needed to 7E, 7W, 7NE, or 10E within hospital.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and adhere to hospital dress code in white and royal blue.
