Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - CVICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, including ECMO, LVAD, and heart transplants.
• Manage and titrate all critical care drips, including inotropes and sedation.
• Work collaboratively with Intensivists and Advanced Practice Providers 24/7.
• Monitor and recognize ECG changes, notifying providers as necessary.
• Float to any ICU or stepdown unit as needed to support facility demands.
• Participate in a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum experience in a CVICU setting required, handling complex cases.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; CCRN preferred.
• Familiarity with CRRT and critical care vent equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips effectively.
• No BSN required, but license to submit necessary.
