Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive telemetry care, ensuring patient safety and adherence to care protocols.
- Perform head-to-toe patient assessments and communicate findings to the care team.
- Administer IV medications, including management of Lasix and heparin drips.
- Manage wound care procedures, including drain care and vacuum-assisted closure.
- Facilitate parenteral nutrition and manage central line, catheter, and ostomy care.
- Engage in patient rounding and care team discussions to promote excellent patient experiences.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the applicable state.
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Proven experience in telemetry or medical/surgical units.
- Proficiency in IV medication administration and telemetry monitoring equipment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
- Familiarity with electronic health records; experience with Altera/Allscripts Sunrise is a plus.
