Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Manage patient care with a nurse-patient ratio of 1:6-8 during night shifts.
• Collaborate with charge nurses who will take patient assignments when needed.
• Monitor respiratory equipment, assist with ventilator management, and deploy BiPAP/CPAP.
• Participate in a floating rotation to various units such as MedSurg, Telemetry, or Intermediate Care.
• Document patient information using the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of MedSurg nursing experience.
• Ability to titrate drips such as heparin and manage associated equipment.
• Flexible with scheduling, and willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to float to different units based on facility needs.
• Possession of an unexpired driver's license at the time of application.
