Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts, using radiation therapy equipment according to established practices and standards.
- Maintain detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
- Monitor the patient's physical condition during treatment.
- Ensure accurate radiation dosage by verifying and maintaining optimal equipment settings.
- Adhere to all radiation safety measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Participate in the call schedule for evening and weekend coverage as required.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Radiation Therapist with a current license.
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred; must possess basic scanning skills.
- Proficiency with equipment such as GE 850, GE 830, Brivo.
- Advanced Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT - NM) required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a patient-oriented approach.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a small team in a busy procedural environment.
