Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized care for neonates with low birth weight, prematurity, and other serious conditions.
  • Attend high and low-risk deliveries and manage the transition of newborns.
  • Deliver postpartum couplet care including care for well newborns and maternal care.
  • Administer and monitor continuous infusions and nutritional support.
  • Collaborate with neonatal care teams to stabilize and transfer infants under 32 weeks.
  • Participate in unit-specific orientation and cross-functional support in Mother Baby Unit as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
  • Experience with Level II NICU, inclusive of both high and low risk deliveries.
  • Competency in Bubble CPAP, ventilators, and high flow respiratory support devices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience preferred, with consideration for candidates with significant travel experience.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to different workflows and procedures with a commitment to quality care.
