Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services for patients with acute care needs using individualized care plans.
- Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the patient’s rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
- Participate in weekend rotation scheduling with full-time therapy staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of acute care experience required.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
- Experience with Epic or similar charting systems required.
- CPR and BLS certification required.
- Experience in outpatient clinic, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Strong skills in assessment, evaluation, and discharge planning.
