Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services, OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in surgical operations specializing in cardiovascular procedures.
Ensure proper sterilization and management of surgical instruments and equipment.
Maintain sterile environment and adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Monitor and report on patient vitals and operative conditions as assigned.
Comply with on-call duties during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Certified surgical technologist with NBSTSA credentials.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Minimum two years of experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
Required to have Trauma Level II experience.
Must possess compact state licensure at submission.
