Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings.
• Administer and monitor advanced obstetric procedures including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Circulate in the OR and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps and PCA pumps.
• Administer medications such as insulin and magnesium sulfate, and manage blood product transfusions.
• Ensure patient safety by accurately assessing, monitoring, and reporting on patient condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current & active RN license; compact licensure honored at Swedish facilities.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in LDRP, L&D, PP and newborn care.
• Certifications required: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP; ACLS preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system.
• Experience with high-risk antepartum and LDRP environments.
• Ability to start and maintain IVs, and operate special obstetric equipment.
