Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient care in the operating room, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to perform orthopedic, general surgery, urology, and gynecology procedures.
• Assist in the circulation and scrubbing for surgeries including robotics, trauma, ENT, and vascular procedures.
• Administer and monitor procedure sedation and the administration of blood and blood products.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of equipment such as epidural pumps, PICC lines, Port-A-Cath, and wound care devices.
• Engage in on-call duties, evenly distributed among team members, providing support during weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience within an operating room setting.
• Active compact RN license honored; previous Swedish perm staff are not permitted.
• Certifications required: BLS; ACLS is preferred.
• Experience with robotic surgeries and ENT procedures preferred.
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments and work across different campuses as required.
• Experience in orthopedic sports medicine and scrub experience is highly valued.
