Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform surgical procedures within an operating room setting with a focus on patient safety and sterile technique.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for both inpatient and outpatient procedures.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care rounds and provide accurate, timely documentation.
• Assist with the preparation and draping of instruments, scrubbing, and surgical assistance as required.
• Engage in on-call duties, including 12-hour shifts, with equitable distribution among team members.
• Maintain clear communication with the surgical team and assist in problem-solving during procedures.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license; compact license accepted at Swedish facilities.
• Minimum of 2 years OR nursing experience, with ability to scrub preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with robotic surgery and procedure sedation is essential.
• Proficient in managing complex lines and drains, including PICC, Port-A-Cath, and wound vacs.
• Strong leadership skills with the capacity to support and manage scheduled and on-call nursing duties.
