Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including diabetic, pancreatitis, and pneumonia.
• Administer medications and IV antibiotics, and provide wound care as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage patient care effectively, ensuring a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Communicate patient status updates and changes in condition to physicians and care teams promptly.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including adherence to fingernail policies and uniform standards.
• Participate in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating a willingness to assist where needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with the ability to work in Nebraska.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of one year of MedSurg experience.
• Ability to pass an open-book exam with a score of 90% or higher.
• Driver's license required for compliance with the 50-mile radius rule.
• Willingness to float to the ED as needed for additional support.
