Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive echocardiograms including both adult and pediatric patients.
- Utilize GE equipment to execute a variety of echocardiographic procedures.
- Participate in call coverage, including Monday-Sunday every other week.
- Work every third weekend to support department operations.
- Ensure accurate charting in the Epic system.
- Maintain compliance with ARDMS and BLS certification standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Sonographer.
- Certifications required: ARDMS and BLS.
- Proficiency in using GE ultrasound equipment.
- Community hospital experience is required.
- Experience with adult acute care and pediatric outpatient settings.
- Familiarity with protocols for various echocardiographic techniques including Doppler, M-Mode, and stress echos.
