Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Float between units as needed, supporting seamless patient care transitions.
• Perform high-risk labor and delivery procedures, managing complications such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes.
• Deliver quality care during weekend shifts as required by the facility.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in managing labor inductions and maternal emergencies.
• Adhere to patient ratios of Labor 1:2 and Antepartum 1:3, ensuring adequate patient coverage.
• Maintain documentation and compliance using Epic charting systems.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license for Washington or Compact RN license required at submission.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Experience in using intrauterine pressure catheter and assisting in C-Section procedures.
• Familiarity with managing anticoagulation therapy and magnesium sulfate.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments.
