Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services, OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and organize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating their needs and passing instruments.
• Monitor and maintain a sterile field to ensure all procedures follow aseptic techniques.
• Coordinate with team members to manage surgical supply inventory and reorder as needed.
• Perform after-surgery clean-up and preparation for next case transition efficiently.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with facility protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with NBSTSA certification required.
• BLS Certification and at least 4 years of relevant OR experience.
• Proficient in orthopedic and spine procedures, including total joints and trauma cases.
• Experience with EPIC charting systems preferred.
• Ability to take on-call shifts and work weekends as necessary.
• Previous experience in a community hospital setting is preferred.
