Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients on a 20-bed unit, including those with Total Knee and Hip replacements, ortho cases, pulmonary, sepsis, GI, and psychiatric conditions.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights, occasionally 1:7 based on staffing needs.
• Float frequently across units and provide care aligned with facility needs, including secure behavioral health environments.
• Administer and manage drips on all floors, ensuring specialized care for cardiac and vasoactive treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including CNAs, care techs, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver holistic patient care.
• Ensure BLS certification and preferred ACLS and CPI certifications are current, maintaining professional competency in critical response.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Nebraska licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in large, urban hospital settings with Level I trauma experience.
• Demonstrated ability to provide care in environments with patients exhibiting behavioral health conditions.
• Proven experience with EPIC charting systems.
• ACLS, BLS certifications required; CPI certification preferred.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and float to different units as required by staffing needs.
