Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Stepdown Critical Care Unit, offering support for trauma, surgery, transplants, lung disorders, and ventilated patients.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3-4 on both days and nights, ensuring quality care.
• Collaborate with the Critical Care Intensivist and nursing staff to provide extraordinary care.
• Manage and administer drips on all floors and float to different units within scope as per facility needs.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation, ensuring accurate patient records.
• Comply with facility requirements, including wearing Steele gray scrubs with the Nebraska Medicine logo.

Qualifications

• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN and NIH strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large urban hospital required; experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Proficiency in managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, blood product administration, and ventilator care.
• Ability and willingness to float frequently within the hospital and to the Bellevue campus if needed.
• Travel experience preferred; locals not accepted, must be more than 100 miles from the facility.
