Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Neuro PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a 48-bed unit specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
- Float to various units within the hospital as needed to meet staffing requirements.
- Manage patient care for Med Surg and Stepdown units with ratios of 1:5-7 and 1:3-4 respectively.
- Administer and manage drips including Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin.
- Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation and patient care management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including CNAs, care techs, and paramedics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
- Experience in Neuro/Stepdown with a focus on medical-surgical/telemetry patients.
- Proficiency with drips on all floors and management of dysrhythmias.
- EPIC charting experience is required.
- Valid RN license or ability to obtain a Nebraska RN state license prior to starting.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
