Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan appropriate treatments based on physicians' orders and evaluations.
• Administer respiratory therapies including O2, humidity therapy, airway management, and resuscitation.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust mechanical ventilatory support for patients.
• Perform arterial blood gases (ABG) analysis and other diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure equipment is properly set up and maintained according to standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) accepted with license prior to July 1st, 2022.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Independent intubation skills for adults are mandatory.
• Prior experience with level 2-3 NICU and ventilators is necessary.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled.
