Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in a busy Trauma ICU setting.
- Manage and monitor critical patients with complex diagnoses such as trauma, sepsis, and stroke.
- Titrate intravenous drips, including vasopressors and sedatives, as per the facility protocol.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and contribute to care planning.
- Operate and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment such as vents and BiPap.
- Perform accurate documentation in the EPIC charting system.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience in an acute care setting.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
- Ability to interpret heart rhythms and administer necessary interventions.
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- BSN preferred but not required; driver's license for distance verification.
