Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care/Intermediate Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for cardiac patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety.
- Monitor and manage cardiac drips and vasoactive drips, with and without titration.
- Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias using telemetry.
- Manage peripheral and PICC line care including procedural sedation administration.
- Provide tracheostomy management and utilize rapid response teams.
- Collaborate with nurse assistants and unit secretary to ensure optimal patient monitoring and assistance.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license; active at submission.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; NIH preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac PCU with comfort in 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios.
- Epic EMR experience required; proficiency in using centralized cardiac monitoring systems.
- Demonstrated skills in chest tube management and BIPAP/CPAP handling.
- Experience in cardiac catheterization procedures, pre and post interventions.
