Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Pediatrics to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform turns, repositioning, and bathing tasks as required.
- Assist with patient transport and ambulation.
- Provide meal assistance and medication administration within the scope of practice.
- Deliver care in a mixed-acuity unit with 24 beds, comprising PICU and PCU patients.
- Adhere to holiday work requirements by working 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Participate as a rover or task nurse across various inpatient units including NICU and adult acute care.
Qualifications
- Current BLS and PALS certifications; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pediatric Med/Surg at a Level I Trauma Center required.
- First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 3+ years of experience at a Level I Trauma Center.
- Epic charting experience required.
- Pending Nebraska nursing license accepted, must be in hand prior to assignment start.
