Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the hospital, including assignment to the Nebraska Medical Center or Bellevue Medical Center.
• Provide high-quality patient care in various telemetry units such as Heart and Vascular Unit, Neuroscience Units, and Trauma Units.
• Manage and monitor cardiac drips and dysrhythmias using telemetry equipment while adhering to protocols.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary support teams including care techs, CNAs, and rapid response teams.
• Ensure compliance with hospital's nicotine-free policy and work two out of three major winter holidays as required.
• Document patient care activities using EPIC charting system efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• Active and applicable state RN license or pending license if appropriate criteria are met.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting, preferably in a Level I Academic Medical Center.
• Proficiency in monitoring drips, telemetry, and management of dysrhythmias in a clinical setting.
• Experience in EPIC charting system required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
