Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiac and respiratory care, focusing on patients with heart and respiratory conditions such as Heart Failure, NSTEMI, and COPD.
• Utilize advanced cardiac telemetry and manage cardiac drips to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer blood products and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Implement nursing interventions using BiPAP/CPAP management and high flow nasal cannula as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate effective patient care and discharge planning.
• Floating to other units as needed to accommodate facility staffing requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system is essential.
• Experience in dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG exams required.
• Prior cardiac telemetry experience is necessary.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
