Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients, including Orthopedic, General, Podiatry, GYN/OB, Pain Management, Urology, and Endoscopy cases.
• Maintain proficiency in the nursing process including assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Consult with staff, physicians, and management on nursing issues to ensure patient needs are met.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Practice five rights of medication administration and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in quality improvement and compliance training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only).
• NM state RN License required, or compact licensure.
• CPI certification required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with basic computer knowledge.
