Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures, including echocardiograms, venous and arterial duplexes, based on certification.
• Prioritize patient scheduling and ensure timely completion of procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing information and answering questions.
• Document procedures in the patient chart to update the physician on test completion.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and work areas.
• Ensure patient information confidentiality and proper billing through documentation.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required.
• Certification in RDCS or RCS preferred.
• Experience in breast imaging required.
• Ability to perform all non-invasive imaging within established guidelines.
• Effective communication skills with patients and team members.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred.
