Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy assessments and administer treatments, including breathing treatments and ventilator management.
• Conduct arterial blood gas draws and run samples to aid in patient diagnosis and monitoring.
• Assist with intubations and support critical care teams in emergency situations.
• Provide EKG services for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow facility guidelines for patient care assignments.
• Participate in department-specific orientation and shadowing to ensure competency and familiarity with the facility's equipment and protocols.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
• Advanced certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, STABLE Certification.
• Experience in ER, ICU, and adult inpatient care settings required.
• Competent in operating respiratory equipment such as Puritan Bennett 840, Hamilton C1, and Avea devices.
• Ability to work all inpatient areas and participate in a wide range of respiratory care tasks.
• Professional appearance with adherence to dress code including clean shaven for men and professional scrubs.
