Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging - X-Ray Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures following prescribed techniques for proper patient positioning, image quality, and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure images are of high diagnostic quality to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
• Implement radiation protection standards to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare personnel to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and files according to hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
• Execute on-call duties as required and be prepared to float between like units within the facility.

Qualifications

• Valid California X-Ray Technician license.
• ARRT certification in Radiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system required.
• Experience in handling a range of imaging procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
