Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a 16-bed ICU setting.
• Titrate drips, including sedation, paralytics, pressors, antihypertensives, heparin, and insulin.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care, including reading and interpreting tele monitor strips.
• Assist with respiratory equipment management, from nasal cannula to ventilators.
• Participate in bedside shift reports and intentional hourly rounding to enhance patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to manage complex situations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and eligibility to work in Nebraska.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system is desirable.
• Ability to float to different departments as needed, primarily to PCU.
• Strong communication skills to serve diverse communities, including non-English speakers.
