Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound exams including vascular and obstetric studies
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists for study evaluation
- Operate GE ultrasound equipment proficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR
- Work efficiently within a team to meet a volume of 2100 exams monthly
- Adhere to facility guidelines and policies ensuring patient safety
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months current ultrasound tech experience
- Certification through ARRT (S) or ARDMS required
- Experience in vascular and obstetric ultrasound procedures
- Proficient with GE ultrasound equipment
- Experience in large trauma facilities is preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
