Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a 21-bed Medsurg and cardiac observation unit.
• Manage patient assignments with an average nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6.
• Monitor patients with common diagnoses including COPD, CHF, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures.
• Administer and monitor set-rate drips such as Cardizem and Amiodarone.
• Interpret cardiac strips and collaborate with tele/monitor techs for comprehensive monitoring.
• Document care in EPIC and ensure compliance with facility protocols and standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the ability to obtain West Virginia licensure if needed.
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA).
• Experience in telemetry and reading cardiac strips is mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-admission environment with up to 6 discharges/admissions daily.
• Experience with set-rate Cardizem and Amiodarone preferred.
• Willingness to float to ICU and stepdown units, managing patients within your skillset.
