Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load of 1:5-6, adjusting as necessary based on patient acuity.
• Float primarily between units 6N, 7N, with occasional shifts in 4N, 5S, 6S, and Critical Care.
• Administer care for patients with conditions such as CHF, cardiac issues, pneumonia, and COPD.
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and interpret telemetry strips.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with ACLS and BLS protocols, participating in cardiac rhythm examinations.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in good standing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips.
• Experience in a MedSurg/Telemetry environment preferred.
• Ability to work every-other-weekend rotations and holiday shifts.
• Must pass a cardiac rhythm exam upon starting.
